1977, Shyam Benegal movie based on a Marathi book Sangte Aika, a memoir of the 1940s actress Hansa Wadkar. The movie stars Smita Patil, Amol Palekar, Anant Nag, Naseeruddin Shah. Amrish Puri and I thought I detected Om Puri in a bit role as well. The credits read like the who's who of Indian cinema.
