Anjali found out yesterday that today was Mother's Day. She is brilliant with her surprises - very clear and sure about what to do - and perfect in her execution. So after she told me that today was Mother's Day she disappeared into her room and made a lovely handmade card which she hid. Then she googled around and found a recipe for a pancake, got the stuff together and was all set.
This morning she was up early, set the card on the dining table and got the pancake going. It was as good as any - no jokes. And the batter just right. I am quite amazed at how well she pulled it off with a phone and a YouTube video. Well done Anjali.
