That pretty much sums up a nice rainy day - old friends for company, a hot meal, tea at Persis and a warm lamp back home.
Don aka Vardha came home yesterday for a meal. He surprised me by carrying a copy of 'The Men Within' - he bought it on Amazon and wanted me to sign it for a friend of his who was going to run the Chicago Marathon, Sundar. It was a lovely gesture and it always makes me feel glad when they happen. Makes the effort seem worth it.
After a nice, easy afternoon when Ranjan also joined us, Don and I went to Persis to have a cup of tea. It was lovely. Then I dropped him and came home and found the salt lamp providing this wonderful glow.
