Malayalam. 2022. One of the most interesting plots I have ever seen. Girl is married off to a short tempered poultry farm owner who keeps slapping her for no reason. When everyone tells her to adjust and she can take it no more she does something interesting - she learns karate online.
The next time he tries to hit her she hits him back pretty badly. He learns karate as well to counter her and attacks her but she is better. The house is kind of totalled in the process. I found this karate duels between the husband and wife most interesting. Ends well - in a most empowering manner.
