In other words, you are recovering your energies which are split over three time zones - the past (worry), the now and the future (fear). By putting all your focus in the present moment, in what you are doing, in the fullness of the act, you are keeping both worry and fear at bay. You are giving your attention to what you are trained to do, to what you have chosen to do.
You can do nothing but your best then. You cannot fail in that endeavor.
