A few days ago one of the oldest houses in my colony went under. It will resurface in the form of many new flats I am sure, bigger and stronger. People will talk of square feet price, construction costs, real estate movement, investments etc.

But what I found most disturbing was the way they brought down the house. Most violently.

There was no sign of the blue tarpaulin that shrouds these sites ( lamenting the passing away of the old structure). Just hard noises and dust. I walked around and clicked a few pics. Not a nice site.
