Nice Link to Finding Your Purpose

Know your purpose? Sean Stephenson says emphatically that his purpose in life is to rid the world of its insecurity. I remember attending a workshop many years ago and we were asked to write down our purpose and this dear friend of mine broke down. She somehow felt that her life has no purpose. After that initial panic she settled down and found her purpose. Now she is a life coach and is helping people find their purpose.

Anyway what I mean to say is that its important to know the purpose of anything (I think). Most times we don't. Most of us know that too.

Here is a nice way to look at our purpose. Hope it helps.

So Hari, whats your purpose in life?

Ha! You had to ask. But let me try to state what I think I did in that very workshop 10 years ago.
I believe my purpose is to use all I know and all I can learn and discover for myself each day and express it best through all the means I have at my disposal (this blog being one, novels, speaking, interacting) and create the world I can envision (happy, abundant, joyful, vibrant, peaceful, caring) by first sharing thoughts, words, acts and making a difference in the world I know.

I know its vague as all unclear stuff is but the idea is to be what I'd like the world to be and hope it has the right results for me and the world around me.

Thanks for asking Madhav. It reaffirmed my purpose. Happy Diwali.

Happy Diwali to you hari.

I don't know what my purpose in life is. All I can come up with is... to live it to the fullest extent possible.

That's lame I know. But its a very deep question.
