This is Jerry's debut collection of poems. They are intense - and then when I started reading his book 'Em and the Big Hoom' realised that many of them are from his life, from that book. The poem abut the piano, the asylum, Mukesh Mills. There are six about trees and one for his students.
But they move you, stay with you, with imagery, thoughts that are placed in such a way that you have to pay them attention - no ordinary thoughts. They have a crazy energy. Can read them again and again and find more layers each time.
The cover is dramatic. I realised that much later. Precious.
