Akela runs out front when she hears the car sound, is waging her tail when she sees me. I still do not pet her and hope to someday but I think she understands my limitations and frisks around and goes away. She comes to stand guard when I am outside and keeps a sharp look out for anyone who might be eyeing me with some less than good intent.

I was talking on the phone and sat on a chair outside. She came and sat. Made me feel very special. Thanks Akela.
