I remember watching the preview of the movie. Mostly awed by the fact that Ram had produced a film, not knowing how it would be seen and received, fully enjoying the movie but still not realising the genius of Mohanakrishna until I watched the movie many more times. The movie established Nani as an actor to watch out for, Swathi, Srini Avasarala, Kalyani Malik and so many more. I made a few friends.
Like many funny movies Ashta Chamma can be watched many times and one can still laugh. So when Sagar shared pics of the team celebrating the 15th year, I felt glad for them.
Watched the movie first day and first show at Satyam theatre with Choudary who in his signature style said - hit movie!
And so it was. Well done Ram and team
