This was lying on my shelf for ages and I picked it up and read it. A once divorced, once widowed thirty year old lady (daughter of a white mother and a Malayali father) takes up a job of helping out the young daughter of a family. She gets caught between the family currents, almost ends up marrying one brother and finally perhaps marries the other.
Turned out to be an ok read in the end. Interesting characters, a dysfunctional family that has two brothers who seem to hate each other, a young daughter who needs help, a controlling mother. And a messed up protagonist.
But like I said, good only.
