Capote - Movie

It's a movie capturing Truman Capote's journey while writing his greatest work perhaps, In Cold Blood. Intrigued by the cold-blooded murder of the Clutter family in 1959 in Kansas, Capote goes there intending to interview members of the Clutter family and coaxes his good friend Harper Lee (of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' fame) to join him.

While there, the killers Perry Smith and Hicock are caught and Capote gets talking to Perry. They become friends and Capote employs a lawyer to defend him as well. he article turns into a book, and finally Capote learns that Perry had killed the family for something as measly as 50 dollars. they go on the information that there was ten thousand dollars in that house. The killers are hanged. In Cold Blood makes Capote the greatest writer in America.
He never finished another work after that. Philip Seymour Hoffman as Capote, is a revelation!
