Made intermittently from 1972 to 79. Most popular for the song 'Rim Jhim gire saavan' especially the one shot in real rain with Amitabh and Moushumi, sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Interestingly it was loosely adapted from a 1965 Bengali movie Akash Kusum.
Ajay, a poor man wants to try his hand at business and becoming rich. He tries to project that he is a rich man to the girl he falls in love with and gets caught out. All ends well though. Cute film with a lot of Bombay in the 1970s. Irani cafes, buses, empty roads, stores etc.
