We stepped out of the Public Gardens and veered to the left to peek at the magnificent Assembly Building. Apparently it was built in 1905 to commemorate the 40th birthday of the 6th Nizam Mir Mahboob Ali Khan. As is evident it was designed by specially commissioned architects.
The place was well guarded by fencing - electric and all so we just peered from the outside at the massive Gandhi statue. The words 'Mera Jeevan Hi Mera Sandesh Hai' are written.
