Decided to head to Patan and Modhera to view the magnificent Rani ki Vav, a stepwell, and the famous Su Temple at Modhera, both from the 10th century. We got ourselves a cab driven by the pleasing and efficient Rocky and got started at 830. Patan is 135 kms away so a good two and a half hours'
