Here's a link to a recent review of 'The Men Within' by someone who just does not like cricket. I loved it.

Thanks Ranjani. You fall into the one reader category that was the biggest challenge when I wrote the novel and I thought - "if someone who is well-read and does not like cricket picks up the book, it should sustain reader interest to the end".
Your review gives me a lot of satisfaction.

Hari, I started buying books from Flipakrt oflate and also most of my friends. I find it easy and effective. Needless to say before buying any book I'll read the reviews.
So casually as I was looking for your books, I found there to be no reviews for any of your books. I think you should address this, to stand a fair chance of selling more books through this medium.
Just a thought, you can choose to ignore this completely.
Hi Asr, You are so right. (I do the same with movies). But it is a completely different world out there - reviews, readings, press coverage - nothing seems to be in the control of the small publisher in the real world (actually if you read my blog about Gouri Dange - sometime last week - you realise that even big publishers like Penguin have no control). Thankfully the first novel 'The Men Within' got loads of good reviews in most Indian publications (do check out the reviews on my website www.harimohan.com).
But there might be no reviews on the net / flipkart! But like you said, I was really looking at the online medium to cut the distance between me and the reader so I should get some reviews done here.
But seiously, tell me if you want to review them and I shall send you a copy each of my books! No jokes and no strings. An honest review!
And really, your comment actually got me going on the online medium. Thanks a ton for the suggestion ASR. Really appreciate it.
Hari, I have read about Ms.Gouri Dange. Her bold act of publishing and promoting of her book is inspirational.
I had also read a couple of reviews of the novel 'The Men Within' in your website, so the thought crossed `if so many here why not a few there`. My feeling is that the very same reviews can be used in the online websites like Flipkart, Goodreads etc. ofcourse with the permission of reviewers or it would be much better if they themselves oblige to do it there.
As far as me reviewing I can give a shot at it but mind you I have done very less of it.
Hi Asr, That is an issue - we cannot have the regular reviews (from newspapers etc) on sites like flipkart without permission from the reviewers (contacting them is also rather difficult). I also think that these reviews seem to be more from the readers and not 'reviewers'. But you have given me an idea - there are several reviews/comments from readers who wrote in - those people can be approached easily and maybe those can be put up on the sites. And I really think that the best reviews are those that come straight from the heart, normally that is what comes from readers, so I will urge you again to give the reviews a shot. Let me know the address and I'll have the copies sent to you. And thanks again. Great suggestions!
Hi Hari, Pls post your mail id, I'll send in the address.
Hi Asr, It's harimohanp@gmail.com
