One big challenge that most teams come up against is how to control their energies. Most times in large groups (or even in small groups or individuals) valuable energy is often dissipated simply because the group energy is not contained.
In such cases it is the overall purpose of the group that becomes the framework for the group to operate in. The common purpose is what contains the energy of the group. Make the purpose clear to the group and keep checking once in a while if the group has the common purpose in mind as they go about discharging their activities.
One finds then, that all wayward energies are contained, channeled and focused, leading to a better result.
