Thought of a story idea while flying the other day. A plane is highjacked and taken to a remote location with some high profile people on board. There are no demands forthcoming and it is obvious that the hijackers are playing for time. The chief air hostess negotiates on behalf of the airline and the government.
Until it is revealed (before the interval) that the entire drama is orchestrated by the murderous crew, each for his or her own gain. One for money, one for love, one for fame and so on. It is the movie star on board who has a huge fan in one of the air hostesses who shows up as the real villain but the stuntsman does the job and falls in love with the pretty lass and rescues the lot. Looks like a racy plot what with air hostesses, movie stars, politicians, hijacks and beautiful islands. Many fine options crop up.

Is that a Poni idea??
Wow, potential blockbuster!
Madhav, Poni ideas can not be so clear in their concept. It is mine entirely inspired by a murderous looking air hostess I saw recently who looked like she would not think twice before she slit anyone's throat.
Thanks Raja.
Great idea - Hollywood thriller meets Bollywood masala!!
Hari i didnt mean it was poni's idea. It was a poni like story. With a clearer concept though. But poni's influence IS rubbing off on you. :)
Thanks Ranjani. And you must have noticed it has all things of interest - women, men, action, violence - opportunities galore.
Madhav, I have been meeting Poni a lot these days and unfortunately his well of story ideas has dried up. This could be influenced by his school of thinking. But it would be interesting to see what he does with a story like this. He'd probably want to have Amitabh Bachchan as the air hostess and might want to change the location to Mars.
I remember Deven Varma playing an aspiring script writer narrating his story idea- isme drama hai, action hai, romance hai, emotion hai...don't remember his story though.
Rang Birangi is it? He introduces Amitabh to Amol Palekar I think.
