The byline says - a history of bollocks theories and how not to fall for them. Interesting conspiracy theories over the centuries and how people still believe them - and how not to fall for them. Lots of research and interesting stories.
So there are conspiracy theories about a small group that controls the world - the Illuminati, that Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by a body double, that Avril Lavigne died, that Katie Perry is a witch, assassinations of Lincoln, Kennedy and others including Princess Diana, UFOs, viruses including the COVID 19 virus, man landing on the moon, that the earth is actually flat and not a globe, that the world is run by reptilian aliens from some other planet. Each of these theories has major fan clubs and members to this day.
Interesting book with a lot of interesting stories about how these conspiracy theories developed and continue to flourish and keep our fellow brothers and sisters busy.
